Braggs Aminos - Use instead of soy sauce. Braggs is an unfermented soy product. A good source of amino acids. Can be used in soups, and on vegetables or rices and stir-fry’s.

Tempeh - A soybean meat like product that can be used for sandwiches or chopped up into any meal you’d like. Comes in many styles and flavors: barbecue beef, bacon, teriyaki, chili, and plan. Contains vitamin B-12. Good source of protein.

Tofu - High protein soybean. Also high in fat. Use sparingly, preferably on hard workout days. Great in place of eggs, cubed in stirfry, or seasoned. Also comes in many varieties.

Carob - Chocolate substitute that grows on trees. Great recipes calling for chocolate powder, chips, or melted. Ounce for ounce, A candy bar made with carob has about the same amount of fat and calories as a chocolate bar, although the taste and texture are different. However, unlike cocoa powder and chocolate, carob is caffeine free. Carob also contains three times as much calcium as cocoa powder.

Whole grains - Barley, corn, millet, rice, rye, wheat, etc.

Legumes - Kidney beans, lentils, peas, pinto beans, soy beans, etc.

Other items - Whole wheat flour, whole grain bread‘s, whole-grain pastas, nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables.
